Below are a list of just some of the behaviors that people have beeninterested in teaching their cats. If you have other behaviors that youwant, contact me. Every behavior can be taught at a beginner or advanced level, based onyour cat's current level of performance.

  • Sit
  • Spin
  • High Five
  • Stand
  • Give your cat a name (ideal for kittens and strays)
  • Sit Pretty or sit up
  • Intro to clicker training
  • Targeting- teaching you cat to use their paws to touch an object or your hand
  • Come when called
  • Weave through your legs
  • Fitting and learning how to use a harness for your cat (must not show aggression when handled)
  • Down
  • Stay
  • Roll Over (needs to know Down first)
  • Jump through a hoop
  • Preparing for your kitten before bringing him/her home
  • I have a cat/kitten, now what? (Tips on enrichment, play, litterbox, scratching)
  • Play fetch (must already have interest in chasing toys)

A note about training these behaviors: Realize that if you want a cat that comes when called but has no previous training, it will require more than one session to get that behavior. The outcome of the training really depends on what level of learning your cat is already. We can typically train 2-3 behavior per hour.

If this sounds like what you are looking for, then I look forward to talking with you having fun with your cat! Talk to you soon!
