We cover the Greater Milwaukee Area, but focus on the Northwest area and suburbs. This includes:

In-Home Consultations for many exotic pets including:

Companion birds

Reptiles

Amphibians

Rodents

Ferrets

and any other exotic companions!

These visits are under the guidance of a board-certified avian specialist (Paul Gibbons, DVM, MS, DABVP). We will recommend (sometimes require) a visit with Dr. Gibbons and the Exotics Animal Service. Many behavior problems can start with an underlying medical issue.

Examples of those who have used this service:

you just bought a bird and need help finding toys and learning how to interact with him/her
you just got a reptile and want to know what to feed it!
you have had a rabbit for awhile and are interested in training
you want to train your bird to do some tricks
you have an exotic companion and are unsure if you have the right cage and heat set-up for their needs
your birds bites or scream at you
your rabbit urinates outside the litterbox
you want to train your ferret or rabbit to come to you on command when they are loose in the house
you are thinking about an exotic pet and want some guidance on what kind based on your lifestyle
your bird or reptile is egg laying

Fees vary based on the species and problem at hand but start at $50 per 30 minutes of service. Consultations can also be done via the phone.

If you live more than 30 minutes from Lannon, WI a travel fee of $1.00 for every minute over the 30 minutes will be applied. For example; if you lived 40 minutes from Lannon, the travel fee would be $10.
